It's time to Get Sewing! Whether you are brand new to sewing or haven’t touched a machine in years and need a refresher, this comprehensive intro course will get you sewing in no time. Learn basic machine operation and sewing technique, essential project construction skills including using a rotary cutter, proper pinning, pressing, and fabric and thread selection while making a fabric makeup brush roll-up pouch or a mini-apron (your choice!)Price: $55 + supplies

Refunds and Cancellations
Payments for classes are non-refundable, so please check your calendars carefully before signing up for a class. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice will not be refunded nor credited. To receive a credit for your class payment that can be applied to a future booking of the same class, CityCraft must be given at least 48 hours notice of your cancellation.
(SUMMER CAMP POLICIES: Cancellations with more than 72 hours notice will be charged a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations made with less than 72 hours notice will be neither refunded nor credited.)
Attendance
To ensure that your class runs smoothly and out of respect for the time of the teacher and of the other students, please arrive early or on-time for your classes. Classes will begin IMMEDIATELY. We will not wait for late students to arrive. If you are late, teachers will not sacrifice class time to bring you up to speed. You are expected to have all of your supplies ready prior to the start of the class.
Your Machine Must Be In Good Working Order and You Must Have General Knowledge of Your Own Machine
Our classes teach a lot of techniques that other sewing schools leave out, and it is important that the class stays on schedule so that all of these crucial techniques can be taught correctly. If you are bringing your own machine to the class, your machine must be in good working order and you will need basic knowledge of how to wind the bobbin, install the bobbin, and thread the machine. Though these particular skills are taught in the “Get Sewing” basics class, they are taught based on the mechanics of modern, updated machines. NEW! Get Sewing, Too! Oilcloth ToteBy popular demand, we are offering a Get Sewing! Part Two. This class will give you another opportunity to put your Get Sewing! skills into practice while completing a super cute Oilcloth Beach Tote/Shopper Tote. Class will review machine set-up and instruct techniques for sewing with oilcloth, constructing bags, and attaching handles. Class prerequisite: Completion of Get Sewing! Beginner Basics or basic sewing machine knowledge.
