CITYCRAFT IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

If yesterday - our first day in operation - is any indication of what's to come, we are in for some serious fun! There are so many people that made this possible that I wanted to thank before I say anything else... Mom, Dad, Vickie, Josh, Peter, Jessica: Never, ever could have happened without all of your incredible support, advice, LOVE, physical labor, creative ideas, biz experience, and humor. Thanks also to Chris L., Heather T., Randy S., Mark S., Steve M, Monte S., Cobi S., David S., Jane S., Bob A., Jene B.; and a MONSTER thank you to Ashley Yousling of Bella Cosa Design. Ashley, without your incredible vision, creativity, and technical experience, I wouldn't be posting to this beautifully designed blog!

Stay tuned for a lot more pics of the store and behind the scenes as we prepared for opening.

Our cutting table gets gorgeous
Callie W-L - Wednesday, October 14, 2009

How amazing is the CityCraft team?! Designed by Kailynn and constructed by Erin, this beautiful slipcover made out of fabrics from Amy Butler's new line "Love" (YES! WE HAVE THE ENTIRE LINE!) is the perfect pick-me-up for our cutting table, an antique Danish dining table that expands to an amazing 4 feet by 10 feet, modified for us to use as a cutting table for classes by my super handy father - an honorary CityCraft team member, of course. I am over the moon!

And...get excited folks... we're going to package this up as a tutorial to share with all of you... Eventually :)

Greetings CityCraft fans!

First and foremost, thank you so much for your support - even before the store has opened. How kind of you!

For all of you on the edge of your seats, we are very close to opening - I promise. I want CityCraft to be your favorite destination for crafty goodness, and we're willing to be patient to get it just right.

In the meantime, check out ALL of this crafty goodness. I hope this gives you LOTS of inspiration to get your creative juices flowing. And what could be a better time of year to start working on creative crafties than cool, crisp fall?
