Wow!!!

We are so impressed with the beautiful nursery decor created by CityCraft customer Gracie! The BEST part of running CityCraft is getting to see the possibilities of our fabric put into action - and we couldn't be more excited to show off Gracie's designs using fabrics by Amy Butler and Paula Prass. Be sure to visit her elegant blog, Ciela Design, where Gracie shares her design projects. Get inspired, CityCrafters!

Amy Butler's Little Stitches: Empire Waist Dress
Callie W-L - Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Everyone at CityCraft is obsessed with Amy Butler's Little Stitches book. The cutest projects for kids! We can't get enough. Check out the Empire Waist Dress, one of the patterns in the book, mocked up in Anna Maria Horner's Fanfare Blue from her delicious Garden Party collection and accented by Robert Kaufman Kona Cotton solid in Cerise. The book and both fabrics are available at CityCraft. Kudos to Erin and Kailynn for their efforts putting this piece together for us to show off in the store.

I love the detailing. We used a vintage fabric-covered button...

New Shipment of Favorites
Callie W-L - Wednesday, October 21, 2009

Opening new shipments of fabric is like Christmas - over and over and over again. Needless to say, we love when the Fedex and UPS trucks arrive.

Today we received a box from Westminster Fibers filled with bolts of backordered color ways of our favorite prints from Amy Butler and Kaffe Fassett. Isn't the pink and olive color scheme delicious? If I had a little girl her room would be exploding with these fabrics in the form of quilts, pillows, curtains, laundry bags, towel trims...

And, naturally, everything from Kaffe is just magnificent. Look at the Mirage Stripe in yellow on the top of the second bolt stack. Very cool.
