Last night's Retro Apron class was a blast! Cassandra, Gay, Marcia, Ashley, and April got down to business creating some gorgeous retro-style aprons and learned lots of fun techniques along the way like basting and gathering, applying a pocket, creating waistbands and ties, and LOTS of hemming! So sorry for any inconvenience, but the May Lounge Night (next Thursday the 20th) has been cancelled. Erin and I will be traveling to Minneapolis next week to attend spring market. Thanks for your understanding and your continued support of CityCraft!

Shortly after opening the doors of CityCraft in October of last year, it became very apparent that our cozy, little space couldn't contain us for long. With growing waiting lists for classes and a conveniently vacant space right next door, it was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up. Of course, none of this would be possible without the amazing and hardworking CityCraft team members: our multi-talented assistant manager Erin (MY ROCK and the other half of my brain), my sewing teacher extraordinaire Kailynn (she has a devoted following!), Ashley and her unwaivering positive energy, and our new lineup of sewing gurus like modern quilt maven Michelle (check out her students' creations from her Learn to Quilt Workshop).  

AND never, never, never possible without the world's BEST customers, our beloved and devoted CityCrafters. You inspire us every day, you are patient with us and all of our growing pains, and you are the reason CityCraft exists. 

With the same focus and dogged determination that we applied the first time around, we are moving quickly to ready the space next door that will house our dedicated sewing studio. This space will allow us to offer more sewing classes to more students. What could be better, right?

I can't wait to share pictures with you as the space evolves. This is going to be fun. Are you along for the ride? Hop in and hold on!
