Not only is this one of the cutest new apparel pattern books to come along in a while, it's the brainchild of super-talented LOCAL designer Kay Whitt from Grand Prairie. The force behind Sew Serendipity Studios, Kay is as darling as her patterns and her book. We absolutely loved getting to meet her at Quilt Market - where I put my foot directly in my mouth when I asked her if this was her first Quilt Market. (DUH, Callie. Embarassing!)

Be sure to pick up your copy soon, because I have a feeling this jewel of a book isn't going to stick around for long!

We heart Joel Dewberry! His new book Sewn Spaces just showed up at CityCraft today, and the team already has it full of sticky notes marking "must sew" projects. We nominated ourselves as presidents of Joel's fan club after meeting him at Spring Quilt Market in Minneapolis. He couldn't have been more gracious and friendly.


The book is chock full of great ideas for home decor projects. The photos are delicious.
